Helping The Homeless - Sponsored Bike Ride
As part of 1st Claydon Scouts Fund Raising Badge the Troop came up with a project to help in their community. They decided to do a sponsored bike ride to buy clothes and other items for homeless people in Ipswich.
The troop presented Ann, one of the volunteers a large selection of sleeping bags, sleeping mats, hats, gloves and towels. The Troop raised £226 and with the kind generosity of Go Outdoors Ipswich was able to provide a much wider selection of items.
